Dilaver Master is seen above receiving A ‘Centenary Drive’ Winners Trophy.
He is the first Asian to win a ‘Centenary Drive Competition Trophy’ at Plashet Park for a Hundred years. Dilaver a Retired HM Custom & Excise Manager is the founder member of the Asian Players at Plashet and has been instrumental in encouraging other Asians to join and play bowls. Plashet Park bowls club now leads the way with Asian bowlers thanks to Dilaver and his friends and it is hoped that other clubs can benefit from the bowling skill and talent in the same way that Plashet Park BC has. Bowls is a game that brings people together whilst being beneficial in promoting good health.
Asian Centenary Tribute. On June 29th 2011 the Asian members of the club paid their
own tribute to the Plashet Park Bowls club Centenary by organising and serving a
Asian Cuisine meal for all members in attendace. Both Dilaver Master and Ahmed Bashir
Patel said they and the other Asian members wanted to play their part in the clubs
